Description

So, Riot Village isn't quite your typical shooter. The first thing you notice: the character just keeps moving on their own, which is kind of odd at first but actually frees you up to focus on aiming and firing. You don’t waste time worrying about walking or dodging—just concentrate on lining up those shots. You go through 10 levels, which get harder as you progress. The AI-controlled enemies? They each use different weapons, so sometimes it's wild trying to guess what they’ll throw at you next. Visiting the in-game market is pretty satisfying. There are six weapons (they all feel distinct), and you're allowed to equip four at a time. Swapping them out mid-level makes for some fast strategy changes; sometimes I hesitated too long deciding which gun to use and paid the price. It’s interesting—the pace rarely lets up because your movement never stops. You really have to think ahead if you want to survive a tricky wave. Honestly, if you’re looking for a simple FPS where tactics matter but the controls don’t trip you up, this could be worth playing for a bit. It probably works best for people who like action but don’t want long tutorials or over-complicated mechanics. Just aim and shoot—and adapt.

When I tried Riot Village, I wasn’t sure about the automatic movement right away—it threw me off for a minute or two. But then I started appreciating how it let me actually pay attention to aiming instead of fumbling with keys nonstop. The shooting feels pretty tight once you get used to it. I liked swapping out weapons at the market between rounds; picking the right setup makes more difference than you'd think at first glance (that part really matters, really). Some stages felt unfair depending on which enemy popped up with what gear—I wish that felt slightly less random. But still, it's kind of addictive if you like short bursts of arcade-style combat without much fuss.
