Some players—kids especially—will breeze through early levels (and honestly, adults might too), but then suddenly there’s this slow dawning that it’s not quite as simple as it seemed. Patterns get trickier and colors play tricks on your eyes. It moves at your own pace though; no timers breathing down your neck unless you want that challenge. But then out of nowhere (really), the pictures started to look awfully similar and finding what was off turned into this whole squinting-at-the-screen ordeal. I liked how there wasn’t any rush unless I wanted to make it harder myself; no pressure is refreshing these days! Still, after several rounds things did get repetitive—a few fresh images would help keep it from blending together so much. You know, small gripes aside, I ended up more hooked than I expected. Didn’t think such a simple idea could trip me up like that.
