Description
There’s something oddly satisfying about guiding a pumpkin-headed character through twisting, spinning scenes packed with cobwebs and old gravestones. In Fall Jack, you don’t just move left or right—here, the whole world spins around your little Jack-o-lantern avatar while you sort of hang on and pick just the right moment to let gravity do its thing. One second it’s bats flying overhead, the next it’s a ghost who nearly blocks your landing spot. It keeps you paying attention.
Levels shift between creepy forests and dimly lit graveyards, sometimes breaking into a haunted house or two, which I liked. You collect weird candy bits, colored potions (not really sure what some of them do), and the occasional heart—probably more important than I realized at first.
It’s interesting—the pacing isn’t exactly frantic but there are those fast moments when you have to make a split-second call or lose out on a prize. Family-friendly enough that kids can play, but older players will probably notice how each stage does something ever so slightly different with its moving pieces or obstacles.
And well, if you’re into Halloween stuff at all... even better. Don’t expect deep puzzles every time; some stages just want to surprise you instead. Not everything needs to be solved with logic—sometimes you drop just for fun.

I spent a couple evenings trying Fall Jack after dinner—it took me longer than expected to figure out timing my drops without falling right onto spikes (yeah… rookie move). There’s this odd rhythm to watching everything spin and then hoping for the best when I finally let go.
The visuals definitely lean into Halloween but never got too creepy for my taste—a good balance there. Collecting items felt rewarding enough though sometimes the difference between candies and potions was confusing (maybe that’s me?). Well, I wish there were a few more outright tricky levels since most puzzles were gentle. Still—there’s something chill about letting your pumpkin fall through swirling scenes while bats flap by.
